This position is for 2nd shift Mon-Thurs 1 : 30p-12am. This position is responsible for maintaining the facility and manufacturing equipment to ensure departments operate in accordance with FDA regulatory requirements as well as company procedures and policies.
Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :
- Service heaters and air conditioners when necessary.
- Maintaining lighting by installing and repairing wiring and fixtures.
- Maintaining plumbing systems by replacing piping and cleaning drains.
- Informs appropriate personnel of unusual conditions, problems, deficiencies, and safety hazards
- Assists in performing equipment preventative maintenance. Properly report the activities done on equipment.
- Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.6 / 3 / 2024
- Travel between facilities as required.
- Assembles and installs equipment.
- Participating in special projects to improve manufacturing processes.
- Assisting with troubleshooting equipment, repairs, overhauls and replacements.
- Works with Maintenance Lead and Supervisor to resolve manufacturing maintenance issues.
- Assisting with new Maintenance Technician orientation and hands-on training.
- Effectively working, interacting and communicating with co-workers and lead / supervisor.
- Demonstrating professional behavior while working in a team approach to managing challenging situations
- Assisting in providing a safe, secure and comfortable environment for all staff
- Performs other duties as assigned
Work Requirements and skills :
High school diploma or GED equivalent requiredMust be able to read, write, and communicate in English to perform necessary dutiesPrevious or similar work experience is preferred.Must be organized and able to adapt to changing demands and priorities.Must be able to work overtime when the company deems it necessaryMust be able to wear the necessary, job-related personal protective equipment.Ability to lift (up to 50-lbs), stand, walk, bend, crouch, reach, stretch, step, climb occasionally during the duration of the shift.Proficient in use of basic hand tools and power tools is preferred, but not essential.Benefits
