Job Description

Ballad Health is seeking a trained Trauma / General Surgeon to join Surgical Associates of Kingsport at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee. The physician will be joining a team of seven general / robotic / bariatric surgeons and an incoming colorectal surgeon in Kingsport, TN. The ideal candidate for this position will be doing a mix of Acute General and Trauma, as well as working in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit.

United States residency is required.

Opportunity Details :

• Mix of General and Trauma Surgery
• Newly built OR, SICU, and Emergency Department
• Multiple State-of-the-art Trauma Resuscitation Bays
• 15 Surgical ICU beds; 15 Medical / Surgical Step-down ICU beds
• Call – 6 Nights per month
• EPIC EMR

Compensation :

The surgical program at Holston Valley Medical Center consists of 7 general / robotic / bariatric surgeons with an incoming colorectal surgeon, 5 advanced practitioners providing trauma and acute care services in the Level 3 trauma center. Each staff member is a highly trained and caring professional who shares a commitment to skilled medicine and compassionate patient care.
