What You Can Expect
Paragon 28, a Zimmer Biomet company is looking an experienced Lab Manager. The Lab Manager has overall responsibility for all operational aspects of the P28 Beast Lab, all remote labs, and oversight of the Michigan Cadaver Lab to ensure exceptional educational experiences and overall efficient, cost-effective management. This is a hands-on position which routinely requires handing of cadaveric specimens, utilization of radiology equipment in accordance with all regulations, as well as clean ups during and post lab sessions. This position is required to be onsite when not traveling at our Paragon 28 location in Englewood, Colorado.
How You'll Create Impact
Works closely with Manager of Medical Education and VP of Downstream Marketing to enlist and coordinate additional lab assistance from marketing and sales
Negotiates best pricing for rental c-arms and technicians for respective development labs and training as needed
Conducts periodic reviews of vendor pricing and performance
Manages cadaveric specimens used in the P28 Lab, including ordering, preparation, inventorying, and appropriate handling of used tissue in accordance with specimen provider, OSHA, and Paragon 28 protocols
During all lab experiences, ensures participants adhere to proper safety and personal protective equipment protocols
Develops and updates procedures / policies and associated training when necessary
Your Background
Must be able to establish and maintain relationships with outside vendors and suppliers
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office / lab environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and copy machines. Additionally, this role will routinely work in a lab environment and use medical lab equipment and will handle cadaveric specimens.

The employee frequently is required to move about the facility. The employee may be required to lift up-to 30 lbs. by themselves. The employee will be exposed to freezer temperatures for cadaver storage
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position and will normally have typical business hours, however additional hours during the week and weekend will be required when labs are scheduled.
Travel Expectations
40% or more of overnight travel required
Compensation Data
Salary Range : $90,000-120,000 USD annually with eligibility for discretionary bonus
