We’re looking for a strategic partner and trusted advisor to serve as Chief of Staff to the Executive Vice President (EVP) of Law & Policy. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys connecting dots across complex organizations, and knows how to turn vision into action.

The Role : This role will be the go-to partner for planning, prioritization, and execution—helping to ensure the EVP’s office runs smoothly, and the broader Law & Policy organization is aligned and focused. This is a three-year opportunity to build executive judgment, systems thinking, communications excellence, and cross-functional influence.

  • Strategic Planning & Execution : Partner with the EVP and leadership team to define priorities, track progress, and ensure alignment across functions.
  • Executive Communications & Forums : Create materials and narratives for senior leadership reviews, Board updates, and internal forums that drive clarity and engagement.
  • Leadership Team Engagement : Orchestrate agendas, decision flows, and follow-ups so the team stays informed, connected, and focused on outcomes.
  • Strategic + operational blend : Spend your time on both high-leverage strategy and high-discipline operations—narratives, priorities, cross-functional momentum, and the details that make outcomes inevitable.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Build relationships across the business that enable agile communication, influence of outcomes and swift removal of roadblocks.
  • Special Projects & Problem Solving : Lead or support high-priority initiatives. Tackle ambiguous challenges and provide directional insight to help teams move forward.
  • Operational Oversight : Support budget estimates, resource planning, and internal communications. Drive employee engagement through workplace-of-choice initiatives.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5–7+ years in strategy, project management, or other relevant leadership experience
  • Demonstrates executive judgment by calibrating escalation, making crisp, timely calls, and framing options for action.
  • Connects people, processes, and information into a coherent operating rhythm.
  • Delivers exceptional communication across written, verbal, and visual media—crafting messages in their own voice and on behalf of executives—and distilling complex issues into crisp narratives for senior audiences.
  • High integrity and comfort with confidential content
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics
  • Client Service Orientation
  • Ability to lead through influence and navigate ambiguity
  • Experience working with senior leaders and executives
  • Proven ability to curiously engage with legal staff
