Labor & Employment Advice and Counsel / Traditional Labor Associate

Overview Quarles is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment attorney to join our Chambers-ranked Labor & Employment practice group in the San Diego office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven years of experience in labor and employment law, with a strong background in advising California employers and handling traditional labor matters. While we prefer candidates with expertise in both employment counseling and traditional labor, we welcome applications from individuals with substantial experience in either area. We offer flexibility in this role and are open to considering candidates for full-time, part-time, partner-track or non-partner-track opportunities. Responsibilities Provide strategic counsel to California employers on labor and employment issues. Advise on traditional labor matters and relations with labor organizations. Represent clients in related negotiations, disputes, and litigation as appropriate. Qualifications Minimum of seven years of experience in labor and employment law. Strong background in advising California employers and handling traditional labor matters. Experience in either employment counseling or traditional labor (or both) preferred. Compensation and Benefits Quarles offers competitive salaries, bonus, and benefits including paid time off, health, vision, dental, 401k, life, disability and more.
