Nurse Manager Opportunity

This opportunity offers a full-time exempt position. Work hours are generally between 7am-4 : 30pm with the expectation of flexibility to cover shifts as needed.

Clarion Psychiatric Center offers inpatient treatment for adults with moderate to severe psychiatric problems, inpatient crisis stabilization for children and adolescents, and a Partial Hospitalization Program for school-aged children. Our recently expanded 112-bed inpatient program has 4 units. Qualifications

Requirements :

  • A minimum of a state registered nurse licensure is required.
  • Position also requires excellent verbal communication skills; ability to remain calm in dynamic environment; commitment to providing a high level of care to patients of all ages, excellent customer service skills and a reliable & dependable attendance to work profile.
  • Provide Unit Coverage as needed for call offs, trainings, health streams, and breaks.
  • Manage schedule if Scheduling Coordinator is absent.
  • Provide real time feedback, coaching, and corrective action following progressive discipline as needed.
  • Act as House Supervisor during off hours taking responsibility for facility.
  • Complete staff member check ins, 30, 60, and 90 Day evaluations.
  • Attend and actively participate in Treatment Team for each assigned unit
  • Assure appropriate staffing ratios based on patient acuity, adherence to nursing department FTE standards, and compliance.
  • Fulfill all duties and qualification for a Nursing supervisor
