We are seeking an experienced an EKG Tech! In this role, you will be responsible for performing electrocardiograms, or EKGs, on patients to aid in the diagnosis of cardiovascular disease and other conditions. You will work closely with physicians and other medical staff to ensure accurate and timely test results. As an EKG Tech, you must be detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and possess the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Essential Functions of the Role :

• Perform EKG tests on patients as requested by physicians
• Analyze test results and provide necessary reports to physicians
• Set up and maintain EKG equipment
• Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all EKG tests
• Prepare patients for EKG tests
• Educate patients and families about the EKG process
• Maintain patient confidentiality
• Monitor patient vital signs during EKG tests
• Operate EKG machines, monitor, and interpret EKG readings
• Coordinate with other medical staff and provide necessary assistance
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the exam room
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols
• Place, maintain, monitor and process Cardiac Holter and Mobile Telemetry monitors

Work Environment

This position is a clinical position and will report to the office Monday- Friday from 6 : 30 am – 5 : 00 PM.

Physical Requirements

This position requires full range of body motion. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, and stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to handle or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 25 pounds.
