Managed File Transfer Engineer

A company is looking for a Managed File Transfer Engineer to lead the stabilization and evolution of file transfer applications and processes.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily automated Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) transfers and automate file transfer processes

Act as a subject matter expert to identify and implement secure automated technologies for file transfers

Perform audits on file transfer accounts and systems to mitigate operational and infrastructure risks

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or a relevant field

10+ years of professional experience in automating and maintaining secure file transfer

Expert knowledge of file transfer protocols such as HTTPS, HTTP, FTP, FTPS, SSL, and SFTP

Experience in developing and deploying automated secure transfer scripts on various operating systems

Expert knowledge of common file transfer tools and scripting automation
