In this high-impact role, you will lead the enablement of an outsourced digital sales force using a sales-as-a-service model to deliver secure, scalable AI and cloud solutions. You'll be at the forefront of transforming how Microsoft supports over 750,000 SMB customer accounts, partnering closely with our vendor partner and Microsoft's Customer Lifecycle Operations (CLO) team to deliver measurable impact.
We're looking for a strategic, results-oriented program leader with deep expertise in digital / cloud sales and vendor management. You bring a passion for coaching teams (often without direct authority), an analytical mindset for business optimization, and a collaborative spirit that thrives across organizational boundaries.

Responsibilities
Deliver Measurable Impact
Own business outcomes for the global vendor digital sales program, with accountability for achieving or exceeding targets in revenue, lead conversion, and partner referral rates across Microsoft's portfolio. Leverage data and insights to monitor performance, refine sales plays, and continuously enhance the customer experience.
Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration
Lead go-to-market execution by aligning vendor sales operations with Microsoft Elevate's internal stakeholders-including Cloud Solution Area GTM Leads, Marketing, Partner teams, and regional SMB leadership. Ensure seamless lead management, customer hand-offs, and process integration while optimizing workflows and performance reporting.
Champion Vendor Sales Excellence
Oversee and develop the outsourced SMB Digital Sales team across inbound demand response, new customer acquisition, renewals, and strategic sales motions. Ensure the vendor team has the capacity, skills, and execution rigor to drive consistent growth and customer success.
Ensure Operational Excellence
Lead business planning, rhythm of business, and financial oversight for the vendor-run sales engine.
Collaborate with the CLO Program Manager to refine processes, uphold compliance and quality standards, and implement efficiencies that maximize ROI on sales-as-a-service investments.
Innovate with AI and Automation
Accelerate adoption of AI and automation tools within the digital sales workflow. Partner with Sales Excellence, Marketing, and external vendors to streamline lead flow through the Elevate digital funnel-from nurture to follow-up-and deliver deeper, automated sales insights.
Drive innovation that boosts seller productivity and enhances customer engagement at scale.

Qualifications
Required / minimum qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years relevant Sales or Marketing experience with Information Technology products and / or services
OR equivalent experience.
3+ years experience leading cross-functional teams or v-teams (which may include vendor or partner teams) to drive business results.
Additional or preferred qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Economics, Engineering or related field AND 10+ years relevant Sales or Marketing experience with Information Technology products and / or services
OR equivalent experience.
10+ years relevant sales experience with Information Technology products / services.
4+ years experience managing others.
Passion for driving positive social impact. Likes to win and is passionate about making a contribution to nonprofit and educational institutions, and the social impact they drive.
Experience leading global or multi-region teams and working in / with a sales-as-a-service vendor environment.
Deep expertise in digital sales engines and lifecycle marketing - understanding of inside sales motions, demand generation, lead management, and customer success in the SMB segment.
Experience working in or with the Nonprofit or Education industry.
SMB Sales IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,000 - $222,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $170,300 - $239,800 per year.
