OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in school settings and a strong background in pediatrics. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in children, with a focus on early intervention strategies to support their development.
- Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language skills in pediatric patients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment results.
- Provide speech therapy services to children with communication disorders, ensuring effective interventions.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate families about speech and language development and strategies to reinforce therapy at home.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric speech therapy techniques and early intervention practices.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology knowledge, and patient assessment methods.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
