Position Overview
Improving the quality of life through prescribed exercise, hands-on care, and patient education, by examining each person and then developing a treatment plan to improve their ability to move, reduce or manage pain, restore function, and prevent disability.
Essential Function
- Performs and documents daily assessments of patient's condition
- Follows a plan of care which is appropriate to problems in identified and involves the patient / family according to their capabilities and desires
- Educates the patient and family / caregiver about patient deficits. Plans and / or assists with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment settings. Provides information regarding appropriate selection / use of adaptive equipment and support programs.
- Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
Salary & Benefits :
$35,000-$65,000 Annually

Required Qualifications And Skills :
1+ years of experience preferred but will consider new gradsPhysical Therapy Assistant License required by the stateGraduated from a physical therapy assistant curriculum approved by the American Physical Therapy Association requiredBLSWorking Conditions :
Frequent standing, typing, moussing, and reading paper and electronic documentsAbility to file and track documents and data, both in written and electronic formHours of business are Monday Friday from 7 : 00 a.m. to 6 : 00 p.m.On occasion, some early, late and overtime hours may be required
