Maintenance Manager – Quirch Foods

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify areas for improvement and assign workers to take care of issues
- Develop maintenance schedules and enforce them among maintenance staff
- Respond to emergency calls for maintenance
- Perform administrative tasks as required
- Delegate tasks to meet maintenance schedule and satisfy employer needs
- Ability to clean, paint, operate electric tools, repair, and install things for the warehouse – as would any other maintenance associate
- Supervise and lead all maintenance operations and processes
- Develop and track annual budget for the maintenance department
- Ensure that all machinery is maintained and at working standards
- Regularly inspect the facility to detect and resolve problems as early as possible
- Develop and maintain positive, effective working relationships with co-workers
- Maintain repair logs, documenting all preventive and corrective maintenance
- Account for all tools, materials, and relative equipment – place orders for new supplies as needed
- Work safely in accordance with company safety rules and procedures at all times
