As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication to everyone on site. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and assist with access control, all while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and innovation. Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday 06 : 30 AM - 02 : 30 PM

Tuesday 06 : 30 AM - 02 : 30 PM

Friday 06 : 30 AM - 02 : 30 PM

Saturday 06 : 30 AM - 02 : 30 PM

Sunday 06 : 30 AM - 02 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or access.

Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues within the location.

Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related concerns specific to a tech, media, or telecom environment.

Assist with access control procedures, including verifying credentials and monitoring entry points as required by site-specific protocols.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by Allied Universal and client policies.

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Experience in customer service, access control, and / or using computers or tablets is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
