Patient Population : CABG, TAVR / AVR Cardiac Valve Replacements, LVAD, Cardiac, Insulin and Heparin Drips, ENT Surgical Oncology Patients - Including Tracheostomies, Laryngectomies, Peg Tubes, Free Flaps, Internal Dopplers

Patient Ratios : 1 : 3-4

Number of Beds : 42 beds

Department Specifics : 92% BSN rate, 24% certification rate, 2023 AACN GOLD Beacon Award Winners the only PCU in Baylor System and 1 of 15 PCU in Texas to receive this award. Multiple DAISY award winners and nominees, 96% NDNQI staff engagement score index, DFW Great 100 Winner - Crystal Higgins, PCU Manager.
