Principal Test Engineer

Lucix Corporation, a subsidiary of HEICO's Electronic Technologies Group has steadily evolved to become the world leader in RF Active and Passive Units, Subsystems, and Assemblies, for Commercial, Civil and Defense Satellite Payloads. Lucix also provides RF hardware for Airborne and Ground Systems. All hardware is designed, qualified, manufactured, tested, and shipped from Lucix facilities in California, USA.

We are seeking an experienced Principal Test Engineer to join our team.

As a RF ATE (Automated Test Equipment) Senior Test Engineer, you will be developing software and hardware solutions for complex engineering tests across our commercial and defense programs. Must be a self-starter & team player who can take ownership of a project from design to deployment under a rapid pace.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Responsible for the design, development, deployment, and documentation for RF ATE Test Systems (primarily Python) used for testing RF and microwave devices for space and defense applications
• Develop and refine company-level software architecture and reuse strategy.
• Create and refine software development and management processes : version control, code review, coding standards, and related
• Interface with product engineers to develop ATE test solutions to validate device performance specifications across various test conditions
• Create test data sheets for customer reporting
• Create, maintain, and update data processing applications in Python
• Use data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI to generate customer data packages
• Maintenance of existing legacy ATE software (LabVIEW and Keysight / Agilent VEE)
• Migration and update of legacy ATE software to more modern platforms (Python)
