Job Description
As a key member of the Fugitive Emission (FE) Team, this position requires coordinating and navigating to various facilities using maps and GPS. The role involves collecting and recording emission data using various detection methods.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in coordinating and navigating to various facilities with maps and GPS
- Helping to calibrate and maintain equipment
- Using various detection and measurement technologies under the supervision of the Team Lead
- Collecting and recording emission data
- Preparing field reports as required
Qualifications
Understanding of EPA Subpart VV, VVa, KKK, OOOO, OOOOa, and W Fugitive Emission Monitoring requirementsKnowledge / Experience with US EPA and ASTM stack testing methodologies is an assetExperience in Oil and Gas industry (preference given to candidates with natural gas processing / transmission facility experience)Effective computer skills (Excel and Microsoft Office) and proficiency with Android OSAbility to work 12-hour shifts (days only)Ability to walk and / or stand while handling / carrying various technical equipment for extended periodsComfortable working at heights in a safe mannerWillingness to travelValid driver's licensePreference for candidates with an Associate or Bachelor's Degree in engineering technology or related technical field; related work experience in hydrocarbon detection, LDAR, instrumentation, or stack emission testing is also preferred but not requiredWillingness to work in Civil Engineering and Land Surveying projects, including field surveying for construction staking, boundary establishment, UAV surveys, LIDAR Flights, and moreAbility to pass FAA Part 107 UAV remote Pilot's license certification is a bonusMust pass pre-employment drug, background, and fit testsAbout Us
