Brighten our hospice families' Thanksgiving by making small decorations that will be delivered along with meals.
The story...
In 2000, one of our teen volunteers came up with the idea to provide fully prepared meals, table items, and a decoration to allow the families more time together on what may be their last holiday, and most likely their last Thanksgiving together, rather than worrying about cooking. Each gift is complete with meals, pie, cider, napkins, hand-made table runners / placemats, candy, cranberry sauce, and a decoration.
We invite you to participate in this beautiful event by creating the decorations. They can be small and simple and you can make as many or as few as you like. Check out Pinterest for lots of ideas.
