We are seeking an energetic professional for the position of Director, Touchstone Property Services .
The position leads efforts to expand and manage housing opportunities for diverse income levels. Reporting directly to the CEO, the role involves strategic oversight of operations, compliance, and financial performance of affordable housing properties, while ensuring high-quality service for residents.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide leadership to regional managers and staff, ensuring effective program administration and compliance with laws and regulations (including LIHTC).
- Develop and execute operational policies, strategic plans, and financial goals to maintain occupancy targets and portfolio growth.
- Collaborate with the finance department to manage costs while maintaining the financial health of properties.
- Create revenue opportunities by expanding property management services through marketing and networking.
- Oversee tenant relations, ensuring timely responses to complaints, maintenance requests, and quality service delivery.
- Ensure staff hiring, training, and compliance with company policies while fostering professional development.
- Supervise property standards, maintenance, and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate financial reporting, annual budgets, and recertifications in compliance with governing bodies.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 8 years in management and leadership roles, with at least 5 years in LIHTC affordable and multi-family property management.Strong leadership, communication, time management, and analytical abilities. Proven success in maintaining high occupancy, collections, and budgeting.Expertise in affordable housing regulations, tax credit programs, and management software applicationsBachelor’s degree in management, business administration, or related field. Certification as a Tax Credit Manager within 6 months of hire is required.Desired Skills :
