Your Key Responsibilities as a Residential Care Aide :

  • Provide compassionate personal care and hygiene support for patients in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, and hospitals
  • Collaborate with physicians, RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other aides to deliver exceptional patient care
  • Assist with daily activities including bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating, and nutritional support
  • Facilitate ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises for patients
  • Monitor vitals, track intake and output, and document any changes accurately
  • Observe patients and promptly communicate any concerns about their care or medication to supervisors

    • Essential Qualifications for Residential Care Aides :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience in adult caregiving or completion of a CNA program (proof of professional references or CNA certificate required)
  • Familiarity with state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
  • A compassionate demeanor, effective communication skills, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
