About the Role (W2 Contract - No C2C)
We're seeking a reliable and self-motivated IT Field Service Technician to perform offsite retail field work — traveling between store locations throughout Maine and New Hampshire. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing computer and printer hardware in retail environments. You'll work independently, using your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed weekly), while receiving daily support and direction from an on-site lead technician.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel between retail store locations daily to perform service calls and hardware installations
- Diagnose and repair computer, printer, and related hardware
- Manage work tickets, document completed tasks, and submit required reports
- Communicate professionally with store staff and maintain excellent customer service standards
- Lift and move equipment weighing up to 75 lbs
- Follow daily direction and schedule from assigned field support lead
