job_description.job_card.job_descriptionWork in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care setting Care for a diverse and high-risk obstetric patient population RNs are required to circulate on cesarean sections Night shift schedule, three 12-hour shifts per week (18 : 00-06 : 30) Every other weekend required No on-call responsibilities Floating required within the hospital and to nearby affiliate hospitals Uses Epic EMR, experience required RNs will provide labor, delivery, and postpartum care to diverse and high-risk OB patients Scrub attire is any solid color, typically royal blue or navy Free parking provided initially, with assigned parking during orientation Travelers are expected to float between all affiliated facilities as needed Return staff policy requires a 3-month waiting period before returning as a traveler All RTO requests must be declared during the application process Pre-start and annual modules are required and completed independently Active CA RN license required at time of consideration Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery experience required Certifications required : Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Epic EMR documentation experience required Two supervisory references from within the last three years in a comparable specialty / setting Applicants must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility for eligibility as a traveler First-time travelers are accepted Pending CA RN licenses not accepted High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
