Responsibilities Work in an 18-bed Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital setting Care for medical-surgical overflow patients, including CHF, DM, UTI, non-critical sepsis, HTN, COPD, isolation cases, end-of-life, palliative, and post-op from general surgery RN-to-patient ratios range from 1 : 4 to 1 : 5 Utilizes Epic for charting and documentation 12-hour night shifts with weekend work required based on unit needs Floating to other units may be required as needed No on-call or standby required Department is newly opened and offers a collaborative environment with support from charge RNs and nurse aides CPAP and BiPAP equipment are used on the unit, but no high flow equipment 2-3 shift orientation will be provided No specific scrub color is required as per manager Holiday coverage may be required and will be discussed during the interview Candidates must provide a copy of their driver's license for consideration Two professional references are required : one from a supervisor within the last 12 months and one from a peer or supervisor within the last 3 years Candidates may not have worked directly for any CommonSpirit facility, including CHI and Dignity, in the past year Requirements Active WA or Compact RN license required at time of consideration Current BLS certification from AHA required At least 2 years of RN experience, with a minimum of 1 year in acute care Ability to titrate Heparin and Cardizem drips (Cardizem up to 10mg / hr) Experience with telemetry monitoring and reading ECG strips Experience using Epic EMR preferred Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-623444.
