job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMonitor access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain security-related procedures for the premises. Verify identification and manage visitor and employee entry consistent with location policies and procedures. Provide customer service by assisting employees, guests, and visitors with security-related inquiries and directions. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to observe for irregularities and report any security-related issues. Document and report security-related incidents, unusual occurrences, or breaches according to site-specific guidelines. Participate in emergency response activities as required by site policies and Allied Universal protocols. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Job Description
As a Security Professional - Access Control Driver in Anderson, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.
As an Access Control Officer in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, checking credentials, and conducting routine patrols. Your visible presence will help maintain a secure environment while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post that requires a valid driver's license under Allied Universal's driver policy requirements. What You'll Do :
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
