Production Associate II - Ager

B Shift, Sunday - Thursday 3 : 00 pm - 11 : 30 pm

Temp-to-Hire

  • During Peak season, overtime will be required

Position Summary

RPI Print, Inc., a global leader in print-on demand, is currently seeking a Temp-to Hire Production Associate II - Ager to join our team. This role plays a key role in the final stage of our production process ensuring printed products are properly finished, cured, and prepared for on-time shipping - meeting strict customer deadlines and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

As an Ager, you will work in a hands-on production role that requires strong attention to detail, consistent quality checks, and the ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor print production equipment to ensure products are finished according to quality standards.
  • Track and process rush, overnight, and expedited orders to meet customer ship dates.
  • Work closely with Production Leads, Supervisors, and Control staff to maintain workflow and order priorities.
  • Verify products follow the correct production lineup and meet quality requirements.
  • Handle rejected product promptly and communicate issues to supervisors as needed.
  • Support smooth transitions between shifts by coordinating with other team members.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Be flexible with hours as production needs change.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support production operations.

    • Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (print or bindery experience preferred).
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, quick-turn, seasonal business.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication skills; able to work well independently and with a team.
  • Basic computer skills; experience with Microsoft Outlook and Excel a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

    • Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Work effectively in a moderately loud environment.
  • Ability to grasp, reach, stoop, and visually inspect products for color / quality.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
