We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic DRAFT Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, possesses strong teamwork abilities, and is detail-oriented. The DRAFT Cook is expected to prepare and cook menu items, maintain a clean and organized work area, and provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, demonstrating a thorough knowledge of food preparation techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all health and safety regulations, and utilizing hand tools effectively.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team, demonstrating strong teamwork skills to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies, utilizing organizational skills to maintain efficient stock levels.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns with excellent customer service, demonstrating effective communication skills.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report any major problems to the appropriate personnel, showcasing problem-solving abilities.
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling dishes, while being detail-oriented.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and procedures, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and hygiene.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn new recipes and techniques, adapting to menu changes and seasonal offerings.
- Operate kitchen machinery safely and efficiently, understanding power tool operation.
Minimum Qualifications :
General knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in the English language.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.Demonstrated teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.Valid Driver's License.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in a high-volume restaurant environment.Familiarity with retail operations and sales techniques.Experience with HVAC systems.Experience with plumbing.Experience with selling techniques.Basic understanding of mathematics.Experience with leadership.Good driving record.
