Crawford Care Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Restorative Nurse (LPN / RN) to join our nursing team. The Restorative Nurse provides restorative nursing services to residents in alignment with their individualized care plans, promoting independence, dignity, and overall quality of life. This position plays a key role in coordinating, implementing, and evaluating restorative programs, while guiding CNAs and other staff in restorative techniques.
Qualifications
- Nursing degree from an accredited college / university or graduate of an approved LPN / RN program.
- Current RN or LPN license in good standing with no active disciplinary actions.
- At least 2 years of nursing experience (1 year in restorative care preferred).
- Eligible to participate in federally funded healthcare programs.
- Training in restorative nursing services (or willingness to complete within 90 days of hire).
- Strong communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and direct restorative nursing services in accordance with resident care plans and facility policies.Assess residents and determine appropriate restorative nursing services.Develop individualized care plans with measurable goals and interventions.Provide and oversee restorative programs including :
Range of motionSplint / brace assistanceBed mobility, transfers, and ambulationDressing, grooming, and eating / swallowing programsAmputation / prosthesis care and communication supportSupervise restorative aides and ensure accurate documentation.Monitor residents’ progress, update care plans, and report changes in condition.Coordinate weight monitoring, restorative dining, and splint / brace tracking.Participate in care-plan meetings, QAPI activities, and staff training.Perform licensed nursing duties as needed.Uphold resident rights, confidentiality, infection control, and safety standards.Skills & Attributes
