JOB TITLE : Director, International Joint Venture Planning

Job Purpose

Seeking a strategic and results-focused leader to oversee forecasting, assortment, and inventory planning across multiple international markets. This role involves developing and implementing planning strategies that foster profitable growth, improve inventory productivity, and align with global financial and brand goals. The Director will work closely with regional teams and cross-functional stakeholders to advance strategic initiatives, optimize planning processes, and support international business development. (must speak Cantonese & / or Mandarin)

Key Responsibilities

Leadership

  • Lead forecasting, SKU, inventory, and assortment planning across multiple countries.
  • Manage and develop a team of planners and analysts to meet organizational objectives.
  • Drive initiatives to improve forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Communicate strategic plans and progress to senior leadership.

Forecasting & Analysis

  • Supervise detailed sales analysis across various levels and channels.
  • Manage forecasting processes for diverse sales channels.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to inform forecasting and planning.
  • Ensure strategies support long-term business growth objectives.

    • Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, finance, and IT teams to develop and refine forecasting strategies.
  • Lead regular performance reviews and strategic planning sessions.

    • Process & Systems Management

  • Standardize reporting tools and best practices for global planning insights.
  • Oversee automation and reporting optimization initiatives.
  • Monitor key metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain data integrity across markets and systems.

    • Additional Responsibilities

  • Support global product conferences and related activities.
  • Travel internationally as required.

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in a relevant field.
  • Significant experience in strategic planning and team leadership.
  • Background in consumer goods, retail, or related industries.
  • Experience with international or multi-market planning.
  • Proficient in statistical forecasting and retail inventory management concepts.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills in Cantonese & Mandarin REQUIRED

    • Technical Skills

  • Advanced skills in Excel and presentation tools.
  • Experience with business intelligence and retail merchandising tools.
