Facilities Technician 1

Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Facilities Technician I to join our growing team. In this hands-on position, you will focus on routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex systems within our industrial environment. You will work closely with other technicians and maintenance staff to maintain optimal performance levels and to implement preventive maintenance programs. Responsibilities :

• Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant safety and environmental regulations.
• Support scheduled preventive maintenance inspections, and repairs on fire safety systems (Emergency Exits / Lighting, Safety Showers, Flammable gas detectors, etc.)
• Help troubleshoot issues with facility equipment and systems, including electrical, mechanical, lighting, and plumbing under supervision of maintenance technician or supervisor
• Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical repair tasks.
• Ensure proper documentation of work performed using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Maintain tools, supplies, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Work collaboratively with other maintenance and production team members.
• Assist maintenance technicians and contractors with installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment such as HVAC systems, motors, and lighting systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols during all maintenance activities.
