The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done.

Responsibilities
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealershipTest-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipmentDiagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairsExecute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specificationsQualifications
2+ years of Service Technician experience preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification requiredFord Certification is nice to have (but if you have technician training through another OEM please reach out)Previous experience at a Ford dealership is preferredB level service technician qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine RepairDexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordinationMechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipmentExcellent customer service skills and basic computer competenciesPositive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improveEnjoy working in a dynamic environmentTeammate with ability to collaborate with others effectivelyAbility to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specificationsValid driver's license and clean driving recordBy working at a Ford dealership, you can be a part of a brand that honors the past, and is invested in the future.
