SENIOR LOGISTICS OPERATIONS MANAGER / BROKERAGE START UP

$95,000 – $120,000 base + quarterly bonus on GP

We’re seeking an ambitious Senior Logistics Operations Manager to build, lead, and scale a non-asset brokerage division within our established, asset-based trucking company. This is a ground-floor leadership opportunity for someone who’s built brokerage operations before and knows what it takes to drive growth, performance, and profitability.

What You’ll Do

  • Build it from the ground up – design and launch the non-asset division, setting operational strategy, processes, and technology from scratch.
  • Establish KPIs and performance standards to ensure consistent growth, profitability, and service excellence.
  • Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team of logistics professionals and carrier sales reps.
  • Oversee daily operations across truckload, LTL, and cross-border (U.S., Canada, and Mexico).
  • Develop and maintain carrier relationships while supporting sales and customer success.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align operations with company goals and financial targets.

What You Bring

  • Proven success launching or scaling a freight brokerage or non-asset logistics division .
  • Strong understanding of domestic and cross-border freight operations (Canada / Mexico experience required).
  • Deep operational knowledge — from dispatch and carrier procurement to margin management and compliance.
  • Natural leader and motivator — you know how to build teams, drive accountability, and deliver results .
  • Entrepreneurial drive with a “builder” mentality – not afraid to roll up your sleeves and make things happen.
