KEY RESPONSIBILITES / REQUIREMENTS :

Role & Responsibilities

The Retail Data Analyst in the CE Retail team enables data-driven decision-making, drives operational efficiency, and enhances customer satisfaction across the retail organization. Key responsibilities include :

  • Data Preparation and Integration :

o Develop and execute data ingestion and integration strategies to combine data from disparate sources.

o Use SQL, ETL tools and / or scripting languages to join datasets based on defined relationships and business rules.

o Ensure data accuracy and consistency across integrated datasets.

  • Dashboards & Reporting :
  • o Develop and manage dashboards and reports to analyze sales / inventory / visits / training data, identifying trends and patterns that inform inventory management, pricing strategies, and promotional activities for CE products.

    o Process and analyze survey data related to the shopping experience for CE products, focusing on customer satisfaction, preferences, and pain points.

  • Sales Team Performance Evaluation :
  • o Assess the performance of sales teams using targets and metrics such as sales lift, conversion rates, and customer engagement to CE products.

    o Identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to enhance team productivity and effectiveness.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration :
  • o Work closely with field sales, merchandising, and operations teams to ensure data-driven strategies are implemented effectively across the CE retail division.

    o Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders to drive informed decision-making.

  • Data-Driven Strategy Development :
  • o Leverage data analytics to identify opportunities for growth and innovation within the CE retail segment.

    o Develop and execute strategies that enhance competitiveness and customer satisfaction in the CE market.

    Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree with 3 years of prior experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Retail Insights, or related area of expertise
  • Proficient in designing and implementing data ingestion, data preparation and automating ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using Alteryx
  • Proficient in Tableau for visual dashboard / report creation that communicates data effectively from the field-level sales team to executive-level use
  • Preferred Qualifications :

    Technical Skills

  • Data Management & Querying
  • o Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and managing large datasets.

    o Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).

  • Data Analysis & Modeling
  • o Proficiency in statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques.

    o Experience with data mining and exploratory data analysis (EDA).

  • Programming & Tools
  • o Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R for advanced analytics.

    o Knowledge and experience in automating data from industry-standard retail systems & platforms

    o Implement & Maintain all New + Existing Software, Hardware Development, + UAT, and deployment in partnership with business owners
