Syntelligent is seeking a Counterintelligence Specialist to support a Government Customer Location : DHS CISA / 1110 N. Glebe Road, Arlington, VA 22301 Shift : Day Anticipated Salary Range : $120000 - $130000 Status : Full-Time Opening Type : Contingent Upon Proposal Award Number of Openings : 1
Duties will include :
- Shall execute CI functional and collection support. Draft reports, conduct briefings, handles investigative and insider threat support and contribute to training and assessments
- Perform a blended set of CI duties including functional support, investigative and operational support, and CI collection activities to support mission continuity and enhance the agency's internal defense against foreign intelligence threats.
- Duties include CI administrative referral processing, risk and threat briefings, CI portions of threat vulnerability assessments, site surveys, coordination with DHS and CISA security and related programs, and support enterprise risk management insider threat programs.
- Support CI collection through reviewing and drafting CI / HUMINT reports, compiling and analyzing collection metrics, supporting debriefings, and performing target and lead development.
- Investigative support includes case tracking, research, data analysis, and CI-related correspondence.
Qualifications :
Education : Shall possess a Bachelor's degreeExperience : Must have a minimum of nine (9) cumulative years of direct counterintelligence experience, supporting activities such as CI functional services, CI investigations, CI operations support, CI collection management, and CI analysis as follows :CI functional services : 2 yearsCI investigations : 2.5 yearsCI operations support : 1.5 yearsCI collection management : 1.5 yearsCI analysis : 1.5 yearsDemonstrated Skills :Pre- / post travel briefings, CI awareness
Threat identification, vulnerability assessmentsCIRs, CIMFRs, and IR drafting and reviewSupport CI debriefings and data triageCollaboration with external / internal stakeholdersCertifications : Federal CI / investigative training (e.g., DoD CI Special Agent Course, FBI Basic)Clearance : Active TS / SCIDesired :Prior experience as a Department of Defense or Federal Agent, Special Agent, or Officer conducting counterintelligence activities, or equivariant CI professionals within the US Intelligence Community or other federal agenciesClearance : TS / SCI Certification Requirement : Federal CI / investigative training (e.g., DoD CI Special Agent Course, FBI Basic) Physical Requirements : Must be able to sit / stand at a desk for long-periods and must be able to lift 20 pounds occasionally. Mental Requirements : Must be able to multi-task and rapidly change priorities with limited notice.
