Job Summary :
As a vital member of our team, you will work under the guidance of the Medical Director and Program Director to promote and restore patients' health. Your collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary team members will be crucial in providing exceptional support to our patients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and supervise nursing staff, ensuring seamless communication and continuity of care.
- Administer and oversee medication administration, maintaining accurate documentation.
- Ensure precise accounting of medications and adherence to infection-control protocols.
- Track all medical paperwork related to patient care, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Manage medication supply orders and ensure effective cross-training of nursing staff.
- Promote quality patient care by adhering to therapeutic standards and compliance regulations.
- Oversee pharmacy operations, including medication administration and patient callbacks.
- Conduct and document patient care services, ensuring integrity in medical charting.
- Participate actively in Treatment Team meetings, always prioritizing the best interests of our patients.
- Provide training and continuing education to nursing staff, fostering a culture of growth.
Qualifications :
Education : Active licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.Experience : 3+ years of progressive nursing experience; previous experience in a similar setting is preferred.Skills : Strong understanding of opiate addiction, medical terminology, and nursing principles. Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with patients and staff.Working Conditions :
You will thrive in a dynamic environment with moderate noise levels, and may occasionally need to travel up to 10%. Your role will require physical dexterity for patient care and effective communication skills to convey important information.
