ER RN Job Details – Elko, NV

Location : Elko, NV 89801 (Northeastern Nevada)

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (10 / 26 / 2025 – 1 / 25 / 2026)

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Setting : 16-bed Emergency Room (ER)

Employment Type : Travel RN, W2

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1880 - $2020

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Nevada or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience (ER / ED experience strongly preferred)

Ability to manage care for more than 4 patients as needed

Willingness to float to other healthcare facilities within a 25-mile radius

Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional certifications may be required per facility policy)

Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel nurse status

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients in the ER

Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute and emergent medical conditions

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Accurately document patient care in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)

Float to other clinical units within a 25-mile radius as required

Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and adapt to the dynamic needs of a rural emergency department
