Job Title : Junior Cybersecurity / Watch Floor Analyst

Location : Huntsville, AL

Clearance : MUST CURRENTLY POSSESS AND ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE

Summary : Noetic is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our security team. In this role, you will assist in protecting digital assets by detecting, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity threats and incidents. The ideal candidate will have foundational security knowledge and experience or coursework involving Splunk

Basic Qualifications :

Minimum of 1 year of Splunk / SOC experience
Bachelor's degree in a computer science-related field
Active Top Secret Clearance
Ability and willingness to do shift work

Main Responsibilities :

Monitor computer networks for security issues

Investigate security breaches and incidents

Document breaches and assess damage

Work with the security team on tests and vulnerability assessments

Fix vulnerabilities to maintain security standards

Recommend IT security best practices

Install security measures like firewalls and data encryption

Conduct analysis, confirm intrusion info, and create forensic duplicates

Decrypt data and provide technical summaries

Analyze recovered data and perform dynamic analysis

Support real-time cyber defense tasks for Incident Response Teams

Preferred Qualifications :

Microsoft Sentinel

GIAC Certifications (GMON, GCIH, GCFA, GCIA, GNFA)
