General Support Staff : $16.50 / hour+ tips
Host / Hostess : $17.50 / hour+tips
FOH General Support Staff & Host / Hostess
Reports to : General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Assistant Manager, Floor Manager
Summary
We are seeking energetic, guest-focused FOH team members to provide friendly, responsive service and help create an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask, and the professionalism to work efficiently under pressure.
Roles and Responsibilities
Greet incoming and departing guests warmly, with a genuine smile and eye contact.
Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and announce their server.
Inform guests of specials, menu changes, and promotions; make thoughtful recommendations.
Answer questions about food, beverages, and restaurant services.
Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely, professional manner.
Monitor and observe guest dining experience; respond promptly and courteously to requests.
Present final checks, process payments, and make change or credit card transactions as needed.
Perform side work at the beginning and end of each shift according to service station assignments.
Maintain clean, organized service and dining areas at all times.
Assist bussers with clearing and resetting tables; thank guests and invite them to return.
Assist with packaging and delivering to-go orders.
Act as a communication link between FOH and BOH staff.
Control expo station : organize tickets, coordinate with the kitchen, and ensure food is delivered promptly.
Support other FOH roles and assist teammates as needed to maintain smooth operations.
Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol control policies.
Attend scheduled employee meetings and contribute suggestions for improvement.
Contribute to team effort by performing additional duties as requested.
Job Requirements
Valid Food Handler’s Card . (Training Provided if needed)
Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) license (if required).
6 months to 1 year of experience in a similar capacity preferred.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to carry and serve hot items (up to 210°ree;F) safely.
Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Strong attention to detail, multitasking, and coordination skills.
Basic math skills; ability to operate a POS system.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to communicate effectively in the predominant language(s) of our guests.
