Job Role - Azure Cloud Architect

Location - Minneapolis, MN or Hartford, CT(Hybrid)

Duration - 6+ Months contract

Responsibilities :

  • Cloud Strategy :
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive cloud strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Evaluate and recommend cloud solutions to optimize cost, performance, and security.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Infrastructure Design and Architecture :
  • Design and architect scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure solutions on Azure.
  • Define and implement cloud governance policies and standards.
  • Oversee the migration of on-premises workloads to Azure.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Security and Compliance :
  • Implement robust security measures to protect cloud environments.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.
  • Automation and DevOps :
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Azure DevOps and PowerShell.
  • Implement CI / CD pipelines for efficient application deployment.
  • Foster a DevOps culture and collaborate with development teams.
  • Team Leadership :
  • Mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Qualifications :

  • 13+ years of experience in IT, with a strong focus on cloud computing.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing Azure solutions.
  • Deep understanding of Azure services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Azure DevOps and PowerShell.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) preferred.
