Donor Tech-Oxford, MS

We are looking for individuals for our Oxford, MS location. Our Donor Technicians are on the front line every day, serving our blood donors and assisting them in their desire to donate the blood components needed to save lives. Donor Techs are hardworking and multi-talented. They've got to be detail oriented and accurate in everything they do, all while providing outstanding customer service to our donors! Duties

• Provide outstanding customer service to donors, with all interactions to be conducted in a friendly, supportive and professional manner.
• Perform all aspects of registration, donor screening, safety procedures and screening for special procedures, and venipuncture in an accurate and efficient manner.
• The ability to effectively manage 2 donor beds.
• Perform accurate computer data entry, and accurate paperwork documentation.
• Calibrate and maintain cleanliness of equipment before and after collection activities.
• Assist in loading supplies and setup / breakdown of mobiles
• Acquire and maintain current CPR certification
• Achieve and maintain an excellent attendance record.
• Help perform pre-trip inspections on vehicles
• Help maintain interior cleanliness of all MBS vehicles
• Assist in ensuring that all supplies are packed and ready for mobiles.
• Operate MBS vehicles on a PRN basis
• Attend all required meetings
