job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and protocols, and participating in emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the food and beverage facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence. Monitor for unusual activity or conditions that could impact the operation of the location and report findings as required. Assist with access control, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location, and maintaining logs as directed by site procedures. Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and / or vendors to provide information or assistance related to security-related matters. Document and report security-related incidents and observations according to established protocols. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Access control and / or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
