Certified Coder

A company is looking for a Certified Coder.

Key Responsibilities

Perform ongoing member medical chart reviews and accurately report ICD-10 and CPT diagnosis codes

Document findings from chart reviews and provide feedback to leadership and providers

Provide training and education to the provider network regarding coding updates and risk adjustment

Required Qualifications

At least 2 years of medical coding experience or equivalent education and experience

Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)

Knowledge of CMS and AHA clinic coding

Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite or applicable software programs
