Job Description

Minimum Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration required.

Licenses / Certifications : Fellowship status in ACHE or MGMA is preferred.

Experience / Knowledge / Skills :

  • Ten (10) years of progressive leadership in healthcare required.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, critical-thinking, organizational, interpersonal, and written / verbal communication skills; must demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to achieving customer satisfaction.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities to influence and engage the workforce to drive exceptional end-to-end delivery of care.
  • Possesses expert direct performance management acumen.
  • Strong ability to analyze various data sets and work collaboratively to develop and implement action plans.
  • Computer literate : Microsoft Office competency required; clinical information systems is preferred.

Principal Accountabilities :

  • Develops plans and objectives for the designated Directors of Business Operations in which they can be accountable for maintaining an operating environment in which policies, personnel, systems, and processes are systematic, aligned and conducive to cost effective operations throughout assigned specialty service lines.
  • Directs in the development of both strategic and tactical organizational planning to support the mission and goals of the specialty physician practices within the Physician Organization.
  • Responsible for monitoring and communicating the strategic plan's execution. Partners with the Campus C-suites and Service Line leaders as necessary to drive aligned enterprise-wide strategy.
  • Conducts regular performance review meetings with key providers and practices to ensure continual performance improvement related to quality, appropriate utilization, patient satisfaction as well as review of key value-based care KPI's.
  • Continuously identifies areas for improvement and driving change initiatives to completion to improve overall operations and financial outcomes.
  • Monitors progress of annual goals and objectives to ensure successful achievement of strategic priorities, including financial, operational, and clinical outcomes. This includes preparing and reporting out progress and action plans in quarterly operating reviews.
  • Assists in the assessment of acquisition opportunities as well as the development of integration plans. Directs, forecasts, and analyzes special projects.
  • Ensures a culture that embraces collaboration, continuous financial and operational improvement while recognizing and implementing initiatives to optimize operations and profitability.
  • Assures that capital and operational budgets are thoughtfully planned, executed, and managed to established targets.
