Job Description & Requirements Specialty : PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 24 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Minimum experience : 1.5 years general nursing experienceWill you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, only with 2 years of experience Travelers must live 100 miles away from any Monument Health facility Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler Patient Types : This is a mixed acuity unit meaning there will be Intermediate Care acuity as well as Tele and MedSurg please ensure traveler understands Direct admits, ED admits, Post Cath Lab, etcMI, NSTEMI STEMI (IABP would go to ICU), CHF, Dysrhythmia management, Pacemaker malfunction, Epicardial pacers Backup Stroke unit and Medical OverflowStep down level experience with post cardiac / vascular, post-cardiac cath patients, post open heart surgery, post TAVR, post EP studies, post pacemaker insertio nPatient Ratios : RN : 1 : 4 most of the time, can be 1 : 3 (acuity dependent)Required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS About Voca Healthcare As a Voca Traveler, you will gain new clinical skills, visit amazing places and meet awesome healthcare professionals.
