Database Administrator

A company is looking for a Database Administrator to support and maintain SQL Server database environments.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and configure SQL Server databases across production and non-production environments

Monitor performance, availability, and security of all database systems

Perform database maintenance, backups, restores, and scheduled environment refreshes

Required Qualifications

Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server database administration, configuration, and maintenance

Working knowledge of AWS (RDS, Postgres, DynamoDB, or similar cloud database platforms)

Experience with database monitoring tools such as IDERA or Redgate

Solid understanding of backup, restore, and recovery models

Ability to work in an on-call rotation and manage critical production incidents
