As our clinic continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Input Specialist to join our administrative team.
Position Overview
The Data Input Specialist is responsible for entering, maintaining, and verifying accurate information in the clinic’s systems. This role ensures that all client data, scheduling information, and administrative records are updated efficiently and handled with the highest level of accuracy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately input client and appointment data into electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Update and maintain clinical, billing, and administrative records
Verify data for completeness and accuracy; identify and correct errors
Assist in compiling and generating reports for internal use
Organize and maintain digital files in compliance with clinic procedures
Handle confidential information in accordance with HIPAA and clinic privacy standards
Collaborate with administrative and clinical staff to ensure consistent, up-to-date records
Support general office tasks such as scanning, data backup, and file organization
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Previous experience in a data input, data entry, or administrative role (preferred)
Strong typing and computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Familiarity with EMR systems or healthcare data is an asset
Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards
