We’re looking for hardworking and reliable individuals to produce reports on Parliamentary select committee sessions and debates, with a wide range of subjects covered.
Select Committee Summaries
These hearings are streamed online and are available to view in real time or are archived as soon as the session is finished. We produce two type of reports – short briefings (2 pages) or longer summaries (6-8 pages). The deadline for summaries produced from morning / early afternoon committee sessions is 10am the following morning. The deadline for late afternoon sessions is 11am.
Debate Summaries
Debate transcripts are published on the Parliament website around 6am. Reporters should summarise the key points of the debate in a series of bullet points (length dependent on type of debate) and send over by 8.00 am.
