CNC Machinist / Programmer (Mills & Lathes)

Full-Time – Overtime Required

A growing manufacturing facility is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist / Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Haas CNC Mills and Lathes, programming with Mastercam, and a proven ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot complex machining jobs. This role requires the flexibility to work daily overtime.

Responsibilities :

Set up, program, and operate CNC Mills & Lathes (primarily Haas equipment).

Perform machining operations including turning, facing, boring, drilling, reaming, tapping, slotting, grooving, milling, EDM, threading, and grinding.

Create and edit programs using Mastercam, including from 2D prints, solid models, and custom tooling / fixturing.

Load programs with DNC and verify machining accuracy with measuring tools.

Perform in-process quality assurance to ensure parts meet required tolerances.

Assist in program prove-outs, process improvements, and tool design feedback.

Train and support CNC setup operators as needed.

Maintain accurate daily production records.

Keep work area and equipment clean; perform routine operator-level maintenance.

Complete all tasks in a safe, timely, and efficient manner while meeting production standards.

Qualifications :

Proven experience with CNC programming and machining (Haas Mills & Lathes required).

Proficiency with Mastercam (2D / 3D programming).

Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.

Strong knowledge of machining processes from setup through final inspection.

Manual lathe and mill experience a plus.

Ability and willingness to work daily overtime.
