Position Overview

This position is responsible for building and implementing product marketing and brand strategies with the Brand Marketing Director to drive awareness and sales growth for the CA Surface Brands (TLR, Losi, Axial, Pro Boat). This position ensures effective communication of brand and product positioning. In close collaboration with the Marketing Director and Product Development, the Brand Marketing Coordinator drives consumer insights, product messaging on websites, digital marketing, social media voice, packaging, and in-store merchandising. The role also remains close to hobby communities through field and event marketing, serving as the voice of the customer while working to grow market share and achieve financial goals. This position also supports content development for social media, forums, and digital channels. Execution of marketing efforts is done in collaboration with Horizon's Marketing, eCommerce, and Wholesale Sales teams.

Typical pay is $69,000 - $79,000. The final offer for this position will be based on the unique experience and qualifications of the candidate selected. This position may also be eligible for a bonus not included in the base pay range. This position will work on-site in our Ontario, California location.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Steward of the brand understand the brand, the product, its persona and be the voice of the customer driving meaningful insights back to the business.
• Execute product launches and marketing strategies that align with overall brand objectives and drive revenue growth.
• Present sales training to the sales teams on new product launches for the brand.
• Create post-launch product campaigns and journeys to create ongoing excitement around the product and increase product demand.
• Analyze the product lifecycle with an ongoing marketing plan and continue monitoring consumer trends.
• Understand the brand persona and provide direction and content to Digital Marketing, CRM, Creative, and eCommerce teams to ensure optimal messaging and online content to support the product throughout its lifecycle.
• Monitor and report on marketing campaign performance metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement.
• Bring enthusiasm and excitement to customers through online and in-person events and interactions.
• Work with product development to understand the product line and future projects to develop sound marketing plans.
• Collaborate with portfolio manager to research customer feedback on product and brand, including consumer surveys, and implement action plans based on findings.
• Collaborate on brand social media channels and engage in other key online communities.
