This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in community settings and don't mind trading scrubs for sneakers now and then. You'll oversee health screenings, manage medications, and serve as the trusted go-to for all things wellness.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n
• Deliver daily healthcare services including assessments, treatments, and emergency response\n
• Maintain confidential medical records and health logs\n
• Administer prescribed medications and coordinate with guardians when needed\n
• Conduct arrival screenings and monitor ongoing health concerns\n
• Partner with camp leadership to implement safety procedures and promote wellness education\n
• Keep the camp running smoothly—even when the bug spray runs out\n\nMinimum Requirements\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; Maine is a Compact License State\n
• Current CPR and First Aid certification\n
• Ability to reside on-site for the duration of the camp season\n
• Strong communication and documentation skills\n
• Comfort working in an outdoor, fast-paced environment\n\nIdeal Qualifications\n
• Experience in pediatric, school, or camp nursing\n
