Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits.
• Conduct training sessions on safety procedures.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain safety records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
• Provide guidance to supervisors and employees on safety matters.
• Work with vendors and contractor's on new equipment and installations, repairs, design.
• Responsible for OSHA logs and upkeep, monthly safety reports, and general reporting of information to regulatory, state, and insurance carriers.
• Conducts inspections internally and externally to ensure a safe working environment for employees, customers and the general public public,

What do you need :

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Occupational Safety,.

2-3 year's experience in a Safety position, preferably in Agriculture, Food Processing, or the Pistachio - Almond industry.

Must be Spanish Bilingual.

Willing to work an alternative work-week to ensure observance of how each shift operates, along with the operation of equipment and staff.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
