Our client is seeking a skilled and driven Product Development Engineer to lead the design and development of innovative steel fabrication solutions. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about turning ideas into high-performance products.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead product development initiatives from concept through production, focusing on steel-based components and systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure product feasibility and performance
- Develop and refine CAD models, engineering drawings, and specifications for fabricated steel products
- Conduct material and process evaluations to optimize cost, durability, and manufacturability
- Support prototype builds, testing, and validation activities
- Interface with clients and internal stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Stay current with industry trends, fabrication technologies, and regulatory standards
